Order Processing Times:

All orders are processed in our system within 2 business days after payment confirmation. Orders are generally picked and packed ready for shipment within 3 days. Customers will be advised a tracking number as soon as one becomes available via email and your order has been dispatched.


Orders are shipped from one of our distribution centres, which are located in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane (depending on the product or stock availability).

Due to the nature of our warehouses and stock allocation, pick up is NOT possible.

Multiple Items in a single order:

If you have placed an order for more than one item in a single transaction, it will not be unusual for each item to be given it’s own tracking number. This may also mean items may arrive at different times and via different couriers. The reason for this is, all items are picked and packed individually in our warehouse and the most appropriate delivery courier is allocated for each product. Please do not be alarmed if you receive only part of your order – ensure that you have checked the status of the tracking numbers of the outstanding items before contacting us as they may be with a different courier service.

Factory Discounts partner with three main couriers to provide the most efficient delivery service with the most reasonable price and quickest service. Due the volume of orders we place DAILY, we have managed to secure GREAT shipping rates  which is why we can offer FREE postage to our customers.

Below is a general guide to how we allocate a courier service for our products. We may at times use another service if it means we can offer a quicker service to our customers:


An Item that weighs 22 kg or less will be dispatched with eParcel that is Australia Post’s Internet enabled freight system.

Each parcel will carry a barcoded address label and you will be able to view the location of
your item at various points in the delivery process via Australia Post’s online tracking tool.

When your order is dispatched, you will be given a consignment number.
You can use the number to track your order at the Australia Post’s website.

For item that weighs below 22kg with a lower cost than eParcel, the item will be dispatched with Fastway. You will receive an email confirmation of your order including a tracking number, as soon as your orders are dispatched. Fastway provides reliable courier distribution service across Australia. Their comprehensive fleet and professional team will ensure items delivered safely to your door.

Parcels dispatched with Fastway are collected from our premises on a daily basis. Each parcel will carry a barcoded address label and you will be able to view the location of your item at various points in the delivery process via Fastway’s website.

A non- PO Box address is required for Fastway’s delivery. If you fail to provide the correct information, your parcel will not be dispatched until the accurate information is received by our customer service team.

Parcel that weighs over 22 kg will be dispatched with Allied Express. Allied Express is the biggest and independently owned courier company in Australia with offices in all major mainland capitals.

Each parcel will carry a barcoded address label and you will be able to track you items through the Allied Express website. Allied Express will contact you prior to delivery via SMS or phone number.

Allied Express requires consignment note and the postcode of the destination to track item at or call 131373 for more queries.


Freight delivery within Australia can be complicated (and expensive). The remoteness of some towns and often large distances between freight depots can sometimes mean delivery is not possible or is not economical. Although we would love to cover 100% of our customers and be able to deliver anywhere in Australia, the reality is we just can’t but we are always working towards covering more areas as freight companies expand their reach.

At present, due to the limited access of our carriers, there are certain postcodes that we are unable to deliver to. Please refer to the list below for more details.

We try our best to include all undeliverable postcodes on the list as provided by our carriers. Any orders placed where delivery is to a location on the below list will be cancelled and refunded automatically which may include a 5% admin fee. We encourage you to ensure your shipping address is NOT included in our list of ‘Undeliverable Postcodes’ below. If for any reason your address is not on the list and we can not deliver your parcel, your order will be cancelled and you will receive a full refund.

Please kindly contact our customer service for more information if you need the item to be delivered to the remote areas to ensure your order could be processed successfully.

Important information for our customers

Delivery Times: The above delivery times are estimates only and should not be used as a guarantee. Factors which can sometimes delay delivery may include Public Holidays, Christmas or seasonal exceptions, extra large orders (furniture, bedding, mattresses etc). Severe weather events may also cause delays. If after 10 business days you have not received your order, please feel free to contact us and we can follow up it’s status.

Concerns with your courier: You local courier is a private contractor and is solely responsible for their own conduct when delivering your orders. They do not represent Factory Discounts and nor do we condone any reckless or rude behavior or dangerous driving. If you have a complaint we advise you to direct your concern to the courier company in question however we are always interested to know of any such conduct so we can refer it to our freight management officer.

Undeliverable Packages In the unlikely event that your parcel is returned to us for any reason we will attempt to contact you as soon as we can.

Inaccurate address If there are any address discrepancies with your order and the product is returned to us, a customer care team member will be in touch. A re-delivery cost will occur for any products that are returned to us where the error is due to incorrect address entered when placing an order.

Unsuccessful Delivery Attempt If no one is home when the order arrives and it is being delivered by Australia Post, a notification will be left in the mail box for you to pick up your parcel at your local Post Office. If your item is delivered by Fastway or Allied Express, arrangement may be made in advance to ensure your item arrives at your door at your convenience. A re-delivery cost will occur if you are not home at the arranged time.

Rejected by Receiver If your item is a gift, please ensure the receiver knows about it to avoid parcel rejection. A re-delivery cost will occur if parcel has to be resent.
